Welcome to Myślibórz!
If you want to find information on interesting places inside and in the vicinity of Mysliborz (well, it would look more like Myślibórz in Polish :) - this is the right place to look for it. We do not list every tourist attraction in the area, but what we've got is useful.
This page is the result of joint effort of 6th grade students from Mysliborz Primary School number 2, working under the supervision of Mr. Mariusz Moryl, M.A (English teacher). They have gone to great pains to accomplish it (well, some of them :), so you'd better enjoy it...
| This object is more representative than
Pyrzycka Gate, higher and bigger. It leads to Nowogrodek Pomorski
situated close to Myślibórz, and also has the status of a town. The gate is built
on a shape of square. It has bricks as their walls. Ceramic roof looks
like a tent. The gate is situated near old town . North-east from this gate there is a road to Szczecin |

Myślibórz is a tourist and holiday centre of the Myślibórz
Lake District. In the past centuries, it sometimes belonged to Poland and sometimes to Germany. For a long time it was called Soldin. Visitors can see an interesting "Post-dominikan" monastery. The monastery is in south part of Myślibórz. In year 1433 nearly all Myślibórz was burnt. The monastery was partially reconstructed. Then very many times it changed its appearance. Now in monastery one can find a library, reading room and a culture centre. |

Near small village Roscin there is a beautiful stone "Czarci Glaz" (Devil's Stone). It is there because of Skandinavian Glacier. We have legend abaut it. Devil wanted to build a church. He thought that
he can build a church before midnight. He took a stone to a place near Mysliborz.
When he came with the biggest stone "Czarci Glaz", the time was up. Devil
was angry and he threw stone. All other stones were scattered
in ruins. Therefore there are a lot of stones, small and big, near Myślibórz.
